Do you have a specific job in mind?

An important element in finding work is knowing the type of job you want. Do you really know? Have you set a clear objective for yourself?
Based on your professional experience, list what you enjoyed and what you would rather not revisit. This exercise will shed light on your job search process. It will help you refine your options.
Review your résumé and identify its keywords. See if your résumé is suited to your current path. If not, make the necessary changes.
For a list of job titles, visit the Emploi-Québec website (www.imt.emploiquebec.net) and locate the section Explore a trade or occupation. When you type in a job title, you will have access to relevant information (nature of work, duties, education and training requirements, salary) and see a range of job titles that may interest you. Click on View all job titles to see the entire list.
If you have access to Repères (the official website of educational and professional information in Québec), you can browse 1259 occupations. This may give you new ideas.
If your job search objective remains unclear after these attempts, seek the help of a guidance counselor.

Good luck to you!
