Here are a few practical tips to succeed in an interview.
How to prepare for the interview
In addition to maintaining a positive outlook at all times, we suggest that you:
· research the organization,
· review the position requirements and draw connections with your past experience and education or training,
· prepare concrete examples to support your statements.
There is a list of questions that are frequently asked during interviews, which we call Greatest Hits: “Tell me about yourself.”, “What are your strengths?”, “What are your weaknesses?”, “Why should we hire you and not someone else?”. You can easily find these online or elsewhere.
Remember that employers prefer candidates who are well-prepared and knowledgeable about their company. Identifying your individual contribution to the company will set you apart from your competitors.
