Millions of job postings for millions of web users!
Because companies tend to practice “cross-posting” on websites, it is not unusual to see the same job description posted on every job website.
Streamline your search by using keywords at www.indeed.ca. You will have access to all the postings from job websites for a given region and in your industry.
Remember that looking for jobs online places you in competition with other unemployed or employed (but looking for a better position) job seekers. Your chances are reduced by the large number of potential applicants.
Google can also be a good job search engine if you are able to use the right keywords.
Although the web seems like a time-saver, try to contact an employer by telephone. Dial, ask a few questions and who knows what will happen next. After all, you only need one job.
